I've been to Butterfield's a few times now. The food is good, nothing special, just your usual breakfast and lunch items. Service is just ok too. I usually feel rushed when I come, like they want people in and out, which I understand when the place is full, but I'd like to enjoy my food. I will say that this restaurant is better than Pulp Kitchen which used to be there. The wait isn't horrible on the weekends, last time I was there on a Sunday, it was a 10 minute wait. It's good to have another breakfast option around here.

I'm glad the prior restaurant located here didn't leave a lingering curse. I was pleasantly surprised when we drove up to see a modern stonework structure too...a good sign as it didn't look anything like the prior restaurant. It was pretty busy when we arrived at about 1130 am on a Sunday. Our wait was about 10 minutes. We waited by their coffee/juice bar where you can order coffee or fresh squeezed OJ while you wait for your table. Service was great, apologizing for the waits--which was really unnecessary as the wait for drinks/food wasn't bad at all and if there was a wait, it's to be expected on busy Sunday mornings. The kitchen is open so you can see (and HEAR) all the action (including crashing plates) so FYI, if you're looking for a quiet breakfast, don't let them seat you near the kitchen. The menu is huge. Breakfast all day. LOVE! I opted for an egg white tomato/bacon/avocado omelet. Their omelets come with toast and a choice of sides--pancakes, potatoes or fruit. The omelet was pretty ugly looking, it looked more like a scramble. Tip to the kitchen: you gotta beat those egg whites quite a bit to be able to make a good-looking egg-white omelet. I opted for the fruit side--a nice serving of honeydew, cantaloup, strawberries and red grapes--all fresh and good quality. The coffee is tasty and plentiful. The freshly squeezed OJ was good, but I wish it was colder--just my personal preference. So if you like OJ ice cold, ask for some ice. The price for three of us was very reasonable. They gave my son a balloon when we were leaving (very sweet). Worth future visits when I'm in the area.

After months of driving down Midwest Rd, looking at the construction progress on Butterfield's, it's finally open and I got to try it out today. I must say, I'm impressed, especially for only having been open for a few days. The remodel of the former Pulp Kitchen is beautiful. I love the stonework on the outside of the building. The inside is very modern and open. Nice wood (or wood laminate) floors, wood tables, comfortable chairs. It feels bright and spacey in there. I don't feel like I'm on top of the person next to me. Also, from what I could see, they have an enclosed outdoor area where some people were seated. Probably well insulated if people were over there in January. I imagine the garage-like doors will open in the summer for outdoor dining. The kitchen is open concept, so you can see the cooks as they work. There is also a coffee/juice bar near the front. The parking lot was full upon arrival, so I was expecting a packed house. However, my mom and I were seated immediately. They have a decent amount of options for breakfast. All the usuals and then some. My mom had chiliquiles and I had multigrain pancakes. The cups for coffee were quite small, but as long as it keeps getting refilled, I can't complain too much. While we were there, they were passing out free samples of one of their smoothies, called Go-Man-Go, a blend of mango, strawberry and possibly orange juice. It was really good, but its almost $6 for a full smoothie, which I think is a little much so I likely won't be getting one any time soon. Our food was pretty good. I of course encountered the usual problem with multigrain pancakes, which is that they crumble when you cut them. Regardless, they were thick, fluffy and yummy. The side of bacon I had was also good. Not oily like you tend to get elsewhere. After we got our bill and paid, our waitress came by and told us she had given us the wrong bill. It was over by two dollars, which wasn't that big of a deal but she tried to void it and give us the correct one. I guess when the manager tried to do it, they accidentally doubled the charge, so it came out to $56. Then they had to void that. Because of this, they didn't charge us for our meal. Our waitress was really apologetic and nice but we weren't mad at all. Stuff happens. It was nice that they comped our bill, even though we didn't ask for it. Overall, it was a good experience and they don't seem to have the major kinks that most other restaurants have when just opening. It's close to home, so I'll be back for sure.

Butterfield's Pancake House is a very serviceable breakfast spot located in Oakbrook Terrace. I had pancakes and French toast and was not blown away but I wasn't actively annoyed by them either. The pancakes were just a little dry but very fluffy. The French toast was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside but lacking sweetness. Two solid efforts that could have used a couple more hours in the test kitchen. The service is a joke, I saw our waitress only twice; once when we ordered and once when we got the check. You gotta come see me at least once in between the order and the check. The coffee was mediocre and a couple degrees above lukewarm. Why did I give it three stars you ask? I see a lot of potential here and I'm feeling positive tonight. The restaurant itself is beautiful and exceptionally clean. I could see Butterfield's Pancake house earning another star in the coming months with a couple minor tweaks to the menu and slightly less aloof waitstaff. I wasn't impressed with my first visit but I'm interested to see if they have more to offer.

Beautiful and very comfortable. We had the farmers skillet ( 2 or 3 people could share ! ) and the eggs, hash browns and bacon with pancakes. All were delicious. Def be back.

This is a typical breakfast spot, something like an IHOP or Denny's. However, the decor is pretty nice and the restaurant feels pretty clean. Service was slow and sometimes absent-minded, which is pretty frustrating. As far as the food, the pancakes are okay, but nothing special. I wasn't impressed by the French toast either. That said, the breakfast quesadilla was quite good and I would highly recommend that if you come here. It was that item alone that kept this restaurant at three stars for me.

Not from the area, but was looking for a breakfast spot. Pleasantly surprised with this place. Restaurant was beautiful inside and out. Waitress was very attentive and nice. The food was great as well. Overall was a great experience. Would definitely come back again.

Good food and GREAT service, but they do need to address the noise problem. The back room, which is very pleasant because of all the windows, is extremely loud when several tables are filled. For us, it was fine since we had two grandchildren with us. But the noise would be an issue for any other type of group.

A friend of mine took me here right before I was going to leave for Europe and had never heard of it before (even though I was pretty familiar with the area). It was new since I had never seen it before and wasn't sure if it would be good or not. Lets just say this, it is now my favorite breakfast location in the area! The Eggs Benedict is outstanding and the Breakfast Burrito was the best one I have ever had to date. It is VERY busy on Sunday/Saturday mornings so I would try and aim for weekday mornings if you can. Other than getting a reservation during busy hours, this place is a must for something new to try and check out!

First- the good: Although our server wasn't around much, there were plenty smiling faces to get what we needed. The fresh grapefruit juice was spectacular. The sausage gravy was quite good (I'm a biscuits & gravy snob). The manager comp'ed one of the biscuits & gravy orders when my son-in-law only ate one of the four pieces. The coffee was kept full. Real cream in the creamer pitcher. Nice decor, if you're into that kind of thing. The waitress told the truth about the corned beef hash- not homemade. The questionable: The grits were so heavily laced with butter and cream that they were good for the first bite-only. The biscuits seemed like they had been in a box for a few weeks. Sausage links were delivered at room temperature- kinda makes you wonder about food safety. They were replaced with links on a microwave- hot plate. All-in-all, I wouldn't mind returning, but won't go out of my way to go there.

Great pancakes and customer service. Fresh squeezed orange juice machine also very cool

It's your typical breakfast place you frequent because u crave mediocrity and expect no more or less. The decor really makes this place stand out amongst its competitors but if ur like me, taste is all that matters!

Well here we are again. Tried this place new years day with my mom and wife. Looks nice but seems to be a lot of confusion. Food was up on the heating table but not making it to the tables. We waited 45 minutes for our order then it was brought to us luke warm. They compted our beakfast and gave us $25 gift certificate to try them again. Here we are waiting service was a little quicker 20 minutes for a chopped salad and scrambled eggs and hash browns. Too many other established breakfast joints to pick from. We're out!

Went there for 1st time on Sun 22 Mar 2015 for breakfast...WAY TOO LOUD for breakfast crowd, IMHO...Place was PACKED..To talk to my mother sitting across from me, had to lean in over table. Never had two servers ask us if we wanted coffee. Since we both have heart conditions, we drink DECAF only. It took two waiters to handle this most simple of requests. Never have had that happen before. Service overall was fine, food was fine, nothing special. Environment is main reason we give only 1 star to this place. Will not go back again. Cannot recommend to families w/children, as place it too loud for young ears also.

So, today, my son and I dined at Butterfield's in Oak Brook. While the service was ok, the bigger issue was the fact that my son's eggs had hair in them. We immediately pointed this out to the server and she offered to have the food redone, however, we declined since it was most unappetizing to find hair in the food. While the cost of the meal was deducted from our bill it is appalling that the manager on duty did not even stop by our table to offer an apology. Perhaps the server did not tell the manager, I'm not quite sure. When I paid for my food, I did mention it to the cashier and she didn't even respond. Shame on you Butterfield's. We have dined in the past at Wheaton location, which is always pretty disappointing. Oak Brook isn't far behind. There are enough other places to spend my dining dollars, that's for sure.

Really, really good.... From their fresh squeezed orange juice and grapefruit juice, to their own barista making espresso beverages hot and cold, really good service, the open kitchen, house made country gravy and perfectly poached eggs, plenty of parking and comfy booths! What more could one ask for???? Actually just one thing.... More variety of pancakes. They are known as a pancake house and the variety wasn't there. But what can you do? We will surely be back!

We happened to find this spot by our hotel. We went on a Tuesday and had our choice of seating. The waitstaff was pleasant and the food good. Our group had good review on the crepes and pancakes. But the chilaquiles - were amazing!!! The portion was so big it looked like I took a whole entree home! Good fresh ingredients.

Delicious food and good prices. The portion sizes are large and the staff is very friendly. This is our family's go to restaurant, especially for breakfast. ( I have family who drive in from Plainfield, IL to go to this restuarant) They do not take reservations but do take "call aheads" - meaning they will put your party on the list before you arrive to decrease your wait time. They do not have traditional outdoor seating but they do have an open dining area in the front of the restaurant, so if they weather is nice enough they open all the doors and windows. The only down side is when it is very busy the noise level can get fairly loud especially if you are sitting near the kitchen, Otherwise I highly recommend this restaurant!

I when back on Friday June 5th and the breakfast was beyond amazing. Huge portions and great service. The place was packed and they did a great job. I have no idea what happened from the first time but its now my go to place for breakfast it was perfect in everyway.

Great breakfast place. First, espresso was done with a real machine and the illy coffee was great! Also, my veggie omelette was cooked very well and sides were very good. The wait staff was curious and the place is well designed and lit. I really enjoyed this place as backdrop for a good business meeting, I could also see this place as great for family or any type of breakfast. I will plan on visiting for lunch.

Butterfields remodeled the old Pulp Kitchen into a beautiful contemporary breakfast and lunch restaurant. The decor is sleek and modern. They have a massive orange juicer for fresh-squeezed juice and everyone is super friendly. The menu is pretty plentiful with both sweet and savory breakfast offerings. They do lunch too, but I didn't even look at that side of the menu. We came for breakfast. My wife was talking about crab cake benedict in the car, and we were surprised to find that they had it when we arrived, so we both decided to order that. The place was absolutely packed, but we still managed to get a table right away. To put it blunt, if you're fat, the booths are a little tight. So keep that in mind. And you can't wiggle the table because they're attached to the wall. Service was okay. The waitress was friendly and our food came out pretty fast, but you could tell the kitchen was busy because the turnaround wasn't as quick as other places nearby. My wife's caramel macchiato was good, according to her. She especially liked the whipped cream, but said the syrup seemed like the cheap thin kind, not the high-end homemade stuff. Our food came out and we found two massive crab cakes sitting before us on our plates. But upon cutting them open, we quickly realized that they were krab cakes, not crab cakes. And they were perfectly formed, like they'd been plucked from a pre-packed frozen box, not handmade. They tasted more like fish cakes to me, and I feared my wife's fin-fish allergy would flare up, but thankfully she was okay. I wouldn't say they were great, but they were okay. And the chipotle hollandaise sauce was nice and masked the fishy flavor just fine. Yet still, by the time I got to the second one I wasn't really interested and almost didn't touch it. The hash browns it came with were fine. Same pre-frozen potato shreds you can get anywhere. I think overall for as nice of an atmosphere as they've created here, they just tend to cut too many corners with their frozen foods. And with the prices they charge, you expect a bit more effort and home-madeness in the dishes. We both agreed that we'd come back in the summer time to give them another shot, and to sit out on the patio when they have the doors open. But we will definitely not order the Krab cakes again and it's not at the top of our list for breakfast options in the area. As I sat here wavering between 3 and 4 stars, I asked my wife her opinion and she said she felt very mediocre about the whole thing. I think that sums it up well. 3 stars it is.

Recently visited for a valentines day brunch... restaurant was overflowing and busy which isn't a bad thing. Parking lot is a bit small but we managed. The restaurant is a bit loud but definitely family friendly. They do have 2 large screen TV's if your considering having a few mimosas and catch some sports. The food... We ordered the mimosas which were made with fresh squeezed orange juice and definitely weren't stingy on the champagne. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Try the biscuits and gravy... southern style sausage gravy was perfect with a kick and buttery biscuits. We ordered the chocolate chip pancakes which were phenomenal and I was suprised to find a mix of both white chocolate and semi sweet milk chocolate inside with a home made maple syrup on top. I also tried the Farmers skillet which consisted of veggies ham, bacon, and sausage and cheese. I thought the skillet was perfect and the hash browns were nice and crispy the way I like them. I was a little worried about the broccoli but it was surprisingly delicious. The service was OUTSTANDING. We did have a long wait and I was very understanding but did ask the waitress what was taking so long she said out food we be up ASAP but she would speak to the manager and see if they could do something for us for the long wait.... we finished our meal and I asked for the check but the waitress said "this one's on us, sorry for the long wait" I COULDN'T believe it! I was willing to pay for the whole meal with maybe a free pancake but managment paid for our WHOLE MEAL... NOW THAT'S GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I WILL BE A LONG TIME CUSTOMER MOVING FORWARD! WE CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!!! They do have an outside area so I'm looking forward to a nice Sunday brunch in the summer.

Stumbled here while driving to another breakfast place. Very glad I did. The restaurant is cute, big and spacious and nicely decorated. Staff was wonderful, food was delicious and I enjoyed my breakfast. I ordered a corn beef hash skillet. It was very flavorful and a nice portion. I got a side of pancakes and those were good too. I loved the fact that every table had a bottle of sriracha, everything tastes better with sriracha :) The coffee was good and the waitress kept our cups refilled. Overall it was good breakfast food, nice clean and modern restaurant and affordable prices. I would go back

Delicious food! This place is clean n very nice. Service was on point. Everything was fresh and warm. It was light n fluffy. This better then honey and jam. I like the contemporary look.

Unfortunately- I love the decor in the restaurant, the food was certainly good but the service is a disaster. This is not the employees fault but merely a lack of planning by management. I would suggest the following: 1. Have water carafe at the bar just like the tables so we do not have to wait 11 minutes for water. 2. If you are going to allow phone calls for orders during peak, have someone dedicated not have dual roles. This leaves guests at the bar in front of you waiting for 12 minutes to order. 3. In the same tune, move this service somewhere less loud, the server couldn't hear and had to duplicate the call several times. 4. The bar area needs a dedicated server during peak hours and someone dedicated to beverage for all other servers. These changes would have drastically changed our experience. We eat out every Sunday and were hopeful this would be the new spot.

I'm glad they finally opened becausenow I can have breakfast for lunch within walking distance from work :) Located where Pulp Kitchen used to be. They remodeled and revamped the building. Today I had the cheese blintz. It was terrific. I liked that they just dont use cottage cheese (boring) for the filling. They add ricotta. I know of one other place that does this. I will slowly work my way through the menu. Only gripe was that my glass of OJ cost about $3.70. It wasnt even that good and room temperature.

I must say, I may be slightly biased because I love breakfast food and I love the other Butterfield's locations. But this new location is right on mark for delicious food and great service. I came on a Saturday morning and saw the parking lot was full, but we were seated immediately. I got an omelet with pancakes on the side. MMMMM, delicious. I'm getting hungry thinking of those fluffy pancakes drenched in delectable house syrup. I was not impressed too much with the coffee though. I would skip it next time in lieu of a fresh squeezed juice. Can't wait to go back!

Good food and fast serving. The coffee taste really good. They are nice staff. This time we ordered the frittata with chicken and jalapenos cheese and a healthy veggie hash. They were both delicious.

  • Samantha V.

Pros: Beautiful, modern atmosphere Decent tasting food nothing fantastic, but not bad either) Fast, friendly service Cons: On the higher side of average pricing Mediocre portion sizes I came in on a weekday morning before work. Was served quickly and I really appreciate the waitress's friendly and helpful attitude. I ordered the farmer's skillet which has all sorts of meats and veggies, and lots of cheese. It was tasty but not phenomenal. The short stack of pancakes that accompanied it were pretty darn tasty though, and this is coming from someone who is not usually a pancake fan. I suppose the only disappointment is in comparison to some of the greasy spoon greek family restaurants I've been to, where you get a meal that tastes home cooked in huge portions for cheap. This isn't that kind of place. You get a mediocre portion of ok tasting food, but with really great service, which is why I gave four stars. If not for the service, it would have been a three star review.

  • Barbara R.

One star is way to much to rate. I called ahead of time and asked if they would have an open table NOT a booth. I always make this very clear as i have a handicap uncle and a 6'4" brother in law and a booth is not an option. I was told they dont take reservations but the most we will wait would be 5-10 minutes if we got there within 20 minutes. We arrived 10 minutes later as i only live 4 blocks away. My Aunt told the hostess that i phoned ahead and she said that nobody spoke to anyone about a table and that i must have called another location and that they are new and not on the web yet. Really? Anyway i called the number on the mailer. So i pulled out my phone and redialed the phone number in my call log and thier phone rang and the hostess answered. Wow i really did call the correct number. But whatever they were jammed packed and by the way there was no parking! So after waiting 30 min. I asked if it would be much longer and asked them to be honest because i could just go to another location. Again i was told only 5 min and that they stopped seating ppl as the kitchen was backed up. Ok i understand your busy. Shortly after we were seated in a BOOTH. We tried to fit everyone in but it didn't work out. My husband went to get the hostess and i explained our situation and she told me i never called. ok now im upset. I told her we want the empty table right across from our booth and i was told it was reserved for a different party. I thought they dont take reservations? Never never again! Such a shame, we have been looking forward to trying Butterfields as alot of ppl has recommended it. Word of mouth is something that this location needs to learn as Oakbrook Terrace is a very small tight knit community.

We actually had our experience at the Danada Butterfield's in Wheaton, but the entire Butterfield's management can share in this review. My purse was left behind (my fault) after Brunch on Sunday April 26th, but our server (who was excellent) retrieved it and turned it in to the management on duty. The management handed it over to the head cashier and told her to "keep it safe" because of course the owner would be returning for it. No-one at Butterfield's knows (or cares) what happened to it after that. Infuriating, frustrating, and in-excusable. Even the police were unable to get anyone to "care" about what happened to my personal belongings, which they had in their possession.

Food very good, but turn off Fox News on the big screen tv! Why get political? I love Butterfield's and was so happy it opened nearby, but this makes me and my husband not want to come back.

The food and service was very good, but with their prices I would expect more. So though I enjoyed the breakfast, the charges need to come more in line with other restaurants serving some of the same. For myself I got the biscuits and gravy with eggs. Their biscuits were better than many other restaurants but their gravy was not as good as some I have had. The eggs were ordered over easy and they were presented that way, but the eggs were cooked a bit too much around the edges. The restaurant has been improved physically and is much nicer with booths and tables versus the previous restaurant. Personally I do not like an open kitchen where you look right into it and would have preferred to see less of that which pretty much covers much of the wall on one side of the restaurant.

I have enjoyed breakfast and lunch at all the Butterfield's locations and was equally impressed at the new Oak Brook location this month. Service is always friendly and efficient, while the food and coffee hits the spot every time. I am hooked on the Fajita Chicken Wrap and look forward to trying something new on my next visit. Butterfield's is the bomb!

Atmosphere: Very noisy due to the type ceiling they have. The wife and I ordered breakfast and we were both disappointed. Her "scrambler" was delivered barely luke warm and for the price paid, the quantity was very skimpy - - she actually left Butterfield's hungry, something unusual for her. I ordered bacon and eggs with hash browns and pancakes instead of toast. The pancakes were small, very thin, and cold. The eggs were cooked to order but the hash browns were the big disappointment. They were so overcooked and burnt you could have useed them for a frisbee and they would have held together. I actually used a KNIFE to try and cut thru them. The waitress was nowhere to be seen until the end of the meal, which is when I pointed out the quality of the hash browns to her. Her response was to offer a fruit cup (we had already finished eating and were ready to leave). The prices seem to be on the high side, the portion size less than they should be for the price, and luke warm at best. Wanted to try what looked to be like a new, good place - - -- won't be back.

Before I get started, I must compliment Butterfield's on the interior, service, and attitude of the staff. The interior is beautifully remodeled with contemporary look and partially open kitchen. The service and attitude were great even at capacity at 11am on Sat morning. They gave balloons to kids and really made you feel at home. I'm by no means a food expert, but we eat out as a family for breakfast most weekends. I ordered the corn beef hash and was a bit disappointed in the flavoring and texture. The flavor was bland and provided no wow factor and felt like a 'low fat/ low sodium' dish. I have eaten enough omelettes to know what I like and I did not like the fluffy omelette that sort of fell apart when you dug in with a fork. My wife ordered the Mexican skillet and that was much more flavorful due in part to the chorizo, but again it was missing the wow element. The ingredients were thrown on top of the hash brown haphazardly with chorizo on one side and peppers on the other. Can you at least mix it up then throw on top of the hash brown? The kids one egg meal was great as was the triple threat smoothie. I really wanted to like this place and bring it into the rotation, but feel at this time it's not ready with the abundance of choices in the area.

Excellent food!!! Must try their cream of chicken soup and the French toast! Downsides are the parking, very small waiting area and it's super loud in there!

This used to be Pulp Kitchen - now remodeled into a new incarnation. I gave Pulp Kitchen two stars as well. This place? For my money I'd say - save yours. Oh, sure, it's new and pretty but that's about it for me. First of all it's breakfast food. There are only so many ways to make an egg, hash browns etc. so a higher price doesn't get you much better food (I'd call it average). We went on a Sunday - were seated in about 20 minutes or so - about what you would expect. The problem here is I don't want to wait 20 minutes for higher priced food in a place where you can't even hear the person across the table from you. This place was LOUD! Not just, busy loud. I mean LOUD! We also had the waitress check to see if everything was okay about 5 minutes before we were done. For my money - go to the good old standbys, spend less money, hear who you're there with and get a waitress that might actually care that you're in the house.

It took long for us to get the food. We didn't really like the food that much. The pancakes are okay, but the French toast sticks were not good and were very oily without any flavor. Fruit was the best! L

Not a breakfast person. I only say that as I might not be the very best person to rate this place but more writing my experience from it.. Breakfast places usually don't excite me as I can basically cook the same thing at home. Eggs, bacon, sausage and pancakes a bowl of fruit and if you're lucky fresh squeezed orange juice. My problem started with this place before I even ordered. Stains on glass of water and water pitcher...asked for a cleaner glass...and got a new glass....with fewer stains. I'm now second guessing is the waiter giving me "this dude is going to be a problem" as I didn't get the same smile she gave to her other two nearby tables from that point on. Frittata- Gotten the South of the boarder. (Chorizo, peppers, avocado, tomatoes, jalapeño cheese.) It was hot but to keep it short just didn't care for it. Ate only half and didn't ask for it to be wrapped up. Pancakes - They were nice and fluffy but again no "wow these are the best", but more like past the syrup so I can get these things down. Half way into eating my pancakes as I rotated my plate around my fingers came across a hard food surface stuck on the edge of the plate. It was white so at first glance you don't really notice it but the dishwasher didn't get off. harden mash potatoes, Alfredo sauce? Who knows, but this just only added to me not liking this place. Overall I take it they do put in work to "clean" daily. However my dishes was not clean, Visual the places looks really nice and that's really what brought me here in the first place. Food wise. I would never order the frittata again but would possible try the crêpe or French toast. but this is of course comes with if I would ever come back again which I find would be kind of hard. It was a complete miss for me.

This spot is a 2, but I'd give it another shot. I thought the pancakes were decent but everyone else seemed to dislike them. The French toast tasted like rubber and the syrup wasn't warm. If you're going to call yourself a pancake house, you have a moral responsibility to make some pancakes on par with a box of Bisquick. By this standard, Butterfield is an immoral heathen. The food is safe for human consumption but not palatable for human enjoyment. The service was friendly but negligent. The location and interior are great though.

I had the pleasure of dining here for breakfast. The building itself is beautiful. Veronica was my waitress and she was very attentive. I was dining alone but with her great smile and customer service, I didn't feel alone. The mimosa wasn't that great but everything else was. The best egg scrambler I've had in a long time. Not to keen on the pancakes but they were OK. I would definitely go back.

All 3 of us gave our meals 5 stars. The parking lot was full so I was expecting to have to wait for a table but we did not have to wait. The restaurant is loud. Really, really loud. Our server was very friendly. Even though it was crowded our food came out quickly. We loved the hamburger, fries and coleslaw. The hash browns with 2 scrambled eggs were delicious. It seemed like the hashbrowns were made from scratch. I had the strawberry cheesecake french toast. It was great. We'll return to this restaurant.

Amazing breakfast and lunch conveniently located in a shopper's heaven. I've owned restaurants and I must say I couldn't do better than Butterfield's

Ordered breakfast carry out.. This food just didn't do it for us My skirt steak skillet tasted okay. Average... But there were too many hash browns. They tasted packaged and some were burnt. Scrambled eggs and cheese seemed alright. No peppers, onions, or tomato - really plain skillet Our toast was black, too burnt, don't know why they even gave us that... Ick. Ordered a side of pancakes, those were decent. The other meal was plain as well. Sausage, sunny side up eggs, hash browns. Just an overload of potatoes - from a box?? And the sausage had a funky taste. Neither one of us finished our meals..... I'll probably return to give this place another shot. The inside is gorgeous. Remodeled nicely... It was very busy and loud on a Friday afternoon. The counter girls were nice. I can't say how the waitresses or service actually was, since I took my breakfast to go
